Premium wet diamond cores designed for drilling into concrete & reinforced concrete using suitable diamond drilling machines that run at appropriate speeds.
The machine speed is mainly dependant on the core size and strength of the concrete.
Ideally a drilling rig stand is recommended as this can be fixed down to ensure there is no movement in the set-up.
However, for smaller diameters it is possible to use a hand-held diamond drilling machine.
A constant flow of water of up to 4 litres per minute is advisable on most reinforced concrete applications, so direct mains water feed is recommended.
The P5-WC wet cores can also be used to drill hard natural stones.

Usage Advice:

  • A good and consistent water flow is key when using wet diamond cores. It also aids the removal of the material from the core, once the hole is completed.
  • When drilling, maintain a steady pressure, allowing the bit to do the work. Excessive pressure will reduce drilling speed and potentially overload the machine.
